Cat pens update: lots of newbies! Fraser the handsome grey giant spent a long time on my knee, and Simba and Marley were grateful for some TLC. New kittens and mum, very nervous of people but that will soon change hopefully.

Cat pens update: The beautiful Tizzy and mysterious black cat Casper are both reserved, meanwhile new cat George is rivalling Alfie as to who is most vocal! Kiki is less shy, and very happy to be stroked. Todd and Stoker enjoying their turn in the outer corridor – and the Whiskas pouches I took with me ensured everyone was in a good mood! Aaron our resident feral was around for his breakfast, he loves all our cat residents, rubbing against the pen mesh wall and trying to engage with them, with some more successfully than with others!!

My favourite Sonni is still at cat pens – and now super dribbling in the excitement of getting affection!

Cat pens: Kiki still hiding in her box, but purring when stroked, I have no doubt she will come out of her shell soon. Casper looking for affection, little does she know that she goes to a new home in 10 days time! Tizzy energetic as ever and chasing birds through the pen mesh wall. Alfie still singing but loving his turn in the outer corridor, he has claimed the scratching post there as his new bed! The three black males all well, enjoying a cuddle.

Cat pens: Munchkin and Tigger affectionate as ever, Libby full of mischief. New cat Dylan already looking for an escape hole, Jaffa a gorgeous black giant, and Suki a beautiful but shy grey and white girl. Good luck to Sebastian who is off to a (hopefully forever) home.

Cat pens: new girl Kiki, very very shy hiding in her bed, a lovely pale shade of ginger. Good to see that Missy has been homed! Amos desperate for affection as ever, Alfie still singing and Tizzy looks much more healthy now she has put on some weight. Had a long cuddle with Stoker. Afterwards visited my friend Susan and her adorable cat Tonto, whose fur is as soft as silk, a shampoo add cat!

Cat pens update: Eddie is finally homed, I hope the new family are up to hours of playtime! New arrivals Todd and Stoker are adorable, although Todd looking a bit unsure of life at the pens, staying in his bed. Poppy as lovely as ever, and Tizzy has taken over from Eddie as the cat that is full of beans! Missy far more relaxed, and Casper and Amos (formerly Amy) both looking for some affection.

Cat pens update: Milo better, springing around the outer corridor with a new lease of kitten-like life! Serene gentleman Marty as lovely as ever; Trixie desperate for her turn to play in the corridor, please somebody give her a home soon! Newbies: gorgeous mottled tortie Libby, nervous (hissy) to begin with and then rubbing around you, a stray cat so her story is unknown but hopefully the next chapter of it will be better for her! Sophie is a beautiful tortie and white, very friendly. Finally Munchkin and Tigger, more mottled dark torties, the sweetest cats ever, and very much enjoying some affection. Always been indoors, perhaps their secret wish for a garden will soon come true! Munchkin pictured…
